A supertree approach to shorebird phylogeny

Gavin H Thomas, Matthew A Wills, Tamás Székely BMC Evolutionary Biology 2004, 4:28 (24 August 2004)

Abstract | Full text | PDF | PubMed | Cited on BioMed Central |  Editor’s summary

The first all-inclusive 'supertree' of the order Charadriiformes (shorebirds), built using the matrix representation with parsimony method, is consistent with recent molecular hypotheses of phylogeny and provides age estimates for all nodes.
