Image of the Month - July 2007

Localization of activated Smads on early endosomes in chicken embryo lenses.
The early endosomal marker EEA1 is stained in green and pSmad1/5/8 in red. Nuclei stained with the dye TOPRO are blue. Vesicles in which pSmad1/5/8 and EEA1 co-localize appear yellow and nuclei stained with pSmad1/5/8 and TOPRO are magenta.
