Transcriptional profiling of degraded RNA in cryopreserved and fixed tissue samples obtained at autopsy

Andrew C Haller, Deepa Kanakapalli, Rosemarie Walter, Samir Alhasan, James F Eliason, Richard B Everson BMC Clinical Pathology 2006, 6:9 (4 December 2006)

Abstract | Full text | PDF | PubMed | Cited on BioMed Central |  Editor’s summary

Multiplexed gene expression analyses on RNA from cryopreserved or formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded autopsy samples can reliably be performed by the cDNA-mediated Annealing, Selection, extension and Ligation (DASL) assay, even when the RNA is degraded.
