Immunoblotting analysis of sera from selected animals of Panel 2 (Short-term Afadé trial). Nitrocellulose strips carrying SDS-PAGE separated whole-cell antigen of MmmSC strain Afadé were incubated with a 1:100 dilution of the serum, and reactive bands were visualised using AP-conjugated anti-bovine IgG and BCIP/NTB. A: animal BD093, B: animal BD099, C: animal BD101, D: animal BD097. Black arrows indicate additional bands close to MmmSC-specific bands that are not observed with all sera (B, C, and D) and a prominent additional band, which occurred only on positive strips of animal BD093 (A).
