Hazard ratios (HR) for incident affective disorders (ADs) by diabetic status without or with oral anti-diabetic agents (OAAs) regardless of insulin usage (using diabetes-free subjects as the comparison group). We matched AD-free subjects with diabetes aged 20 years or over without or with medication with those who were diabetes-free, by year and month of birth and gender. Adjustments were made for monthly income (0, 1 to 15,000, 15,000 to 21000, >21000 New Taiwan Dollars (NTD)).
