| • First episode psychosis |
| • Aged 14–30 years |
| • (ICD-10: F20, 22, 23, 25, 28, 31) |
| • Living within the catchment area |

| Exclusion criteria |
| Patients with a history of prior psychosis in receipt of antipsychotic medication |
| Patients with a primary diagnosis of substance use disorder or organic disorder |
| Institutional residence |
| Patients with learning disability |
| Inability to provide informed consent |
| Patients with current criminal proceedings |
| Patients with serious concurrent physical illness |
