Caprylic acid, palmitic acid and stearic acid are polysaturated fatty acids (PFA). Palmitalic acid, Linoleic acid and Linolenic acid are omega-9, omega-6 and omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) respectively. These fatty acids share the general empirical formula CnHnOn. Caprylic acid was the major constituent with 78.2% abundance. |
