Electrophoretic analysis of a one-step elution using column 2 (fresh column feed). Fractions of the one-step separation performed on the 75 mL column were analysed as described in the Methods section. Lanes 1 and 2 represent the flow-through in binding buffer (0.6 M (NH₄)₂SO₄), lanes 3 and 4 the two elution peaks at 0.25 M (NH₄)₂SO₄ and lanes 5 and 6 the proteins eluted without (NH₄)₂SO₄ in 0.05 M phosphate buffer.
