aIDF-C (joint interim consensus criteria by IDF and other organization): Diabetes or fasting glucose ≥ 100 mg/dL; Hypertension or SBP ≥ 130 mmHg or DBP ≥ 85 mmHg; Dyslipidemia or HDL < 40 mg/dL for men and HDL < 50 mg/dL for women; Dyslipidemia or Triglycerides ≥ 150 mg/dL; Waist circumference ≥ 85 cm for men and ≥ 80 cm for women.

bATP III-M (modified NCEP ATP III criteria): Diabetes or fasting glucose ≥ 110 mg/dL; Hypertension or SBP ≥ 130 mmHg or DBP ≥ 85 mmHg; Dyslipidemia or HDL < 40 mg/dL for both men and women; Dyslipidemia or Triglycerides ≥ 150 mg/dL; Waist circumference ≥ 90 cm for men and ≥ 80 cm for women.
