Trends in the life expectancy gap between most and least deprived areas according
to sex and age, Québec, 1989-2004. * Life expectancy at 90 years among males was the only category for which the difference
between the least and most deprived deciles did not increase. In 1995-1998, the difference
decreased to 0.7 years but returned in 2001-2004 to the difference observed in 1989-1992
(i.e., 1.1 years). † Refers to age at which life expectancy was calculated.
