A) The number of metastatic lesions was counted in 7 different sections a minimum of 60 μm apart for each lung (40× magnification). Each bar represents the mean and standard error of 35 counts for each group. The p-value is 0.1476. B) The size of each metastatic lesion was determined by morphometric analysis using NIH image analysis software (400× magnification). Each bar represents the mean and standard deviation. For Control n = 534, and for DARC2F5 n = 361. The p-value is p < 0.0001.
