The model was constructed using the Swiss Model program ( http://swissmodel.expasy.org webcite) with the full length sequence of the human VLDLR protein. The model has been visualized using RasMol ( http://rasmol.org webcite). According to the UniProtKP database, cysteine 706 is predicted to form a disulfide bond with cysteine 719 (Blue colored) ( http://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P98155 webcite).
