CD4+CD25-cells acquire regulatory phenotype-CD4+CD25highFoxp3+. After activation with PMA/ionomycin/anti-CD3 and 5 days in culture, the CD4+CD25- T cells were analyzed by flow cytometry and 85.26% to 91.85% (mean: 91.4 ± 5.9%, n = 3) of the cells were shown to co-express CD4 and CD25 marker (A) and mean of 36.86 ± 7.46% of the cells acquire the classical regulatory phenotype- CD4+CD25highFoxp3+ (B). Three independent experiments were performed (A, B).
