Mean ERP waves across 16 parietal-occipital electrodes relevant for the early posterior negativity (EPN) for neutral, negative, and spider pictures during the four tasks, separately for participants with spider fear (two top rows) and for participants without spider fear (two bottom rows). For each group, the first row shows the ERP waves between −100 and +400 ms, and the second row shows a blow up of the same ERP waves between +150 and +300 ms.
