The Upper section plots the averaged proportion of trials in the 4 and 10 semitones condition which were perceived as two streams when presented in the Test position (proceeded by the 2 semitone stimuli), allowing comparison with the perception of the same stimuli presented in the Adaptation position. The Lower section plots the proportion of trials heard as two streams in the 2 semitones scenario when presented as both Test (preceded by 4 and 10 semitones) and as Adaptation sequences. Error bars represent the standard error of the mean.
