Complete genome sequences of the 11 fungal species studied were used to extract tRNA sequences using tRNAscan-SE (see Methods). The total number of different tRNA gene sequences retrieved was compared with the total number of codons. C. albicans (bold) had the smallest set of tRNA genes, but was the second largest ORFeome. |
