Cluster of interacting proteins. The TGFβ1 network consists of 27 hub proteins with more than 29 edges incident on them and proteins that interact directly with them identified in the "TGFβ1 interactome". The hubs are clearly visible in the network from their high degree of connectivity. Proteins encoded by up-regulated and down-regulated genes are 115 and colored respectively in red and green using a color gradient reflecting the mean log₂ ratio given in Additional file 1, column N. This TGFβ1 core consists of 1235 proteins.
