Additional files

Additional file 1:

An Excel file containing the complete transcriptome information for each one of the 36 L. major chromosomes. The coordinates for each transcript are provided (Locus column), in addition to location of main (SL) and alternative SL (Alt_SL) addition sites, location of main (polyA) and alternative (Alt_polyA) polyadenylation sites. It is also indicated (GeneDB_ID) whether the transcript corresponds to a previously annotated gene (in this case the corresponding annotated gene is provided) or represents a new gene (denoted as unknown). The relative levels, expressed as FPKM, for each transcript are also provided. Finally, transcripts evidencing mis-annotated translation start codons are remarked as truncated.
