Preparation of high density cell microarrays with multiple cell types using CSMA method. (A) Laser microarray scanned composite image of VCaP prostate cancer cells cultured for 72 h on a four welled CSMA plate with 15,552 siRNAs spots (200 μm) printed as four sub-arrays with 3,888 spots in 18 mm × 54 mm areas. Magnified images of the array displaying the parallel staining of the cells for DNA, F-Actin, Ki-67 and cleaved PARP. Scale bar 18 mm. (B) Microscope images of 200 μm diameter array spots with: (1-12) VCaP, OVCAR-8, Caco-2, 3T3, PC-3, T-98G, KPL-4, primary prostate stromal cells, HEK-293, HeLa, SAOS-2 and primary osteosarcoma cells cultured on CSMAs for 48 h and stained with multiple types of immunostainings.
