Stability is quantified by pair-wise FST and percent exclusion of the contemporary sample from the historical sample. Both parameters measured using sub-sets of SNPs and previously published data using microsatellites.

Micros = microsatellite data taken from [21]. Note, the contemporary Vosso sample is not the same as the contemporary Vosso sample used in Glover et al., 2012b. * = significant P < 0.05, ** = significant P < 0.001.
