A) Diagram shows Dvl binding to the MT network and inhibiting a pool of Gsk3β resulting in changes in the phosphorylation of MAP1B and increased microtubule stability. B) Neurons expressing Dvl contain stable MTs after Nocodazole treatment. Expression of Gsk3β partially blocks the ability of Dvl to stabilize MTs. C) Quantification shows that Dvl alone induces MT stability when compared to control EGFP-expressing neurons.
