Dose-dependent toxicity of cadmium and arsenite in S2 cells. Four million cells were plated in 1 ml DSFM per well on 6-well plates 2 days before treatments. Cells were left untreated or received the indicated doses of either CdCl₂ (left panel), or NaAsO₂ (right panel). Twenty four hours later, 100 μl of cell suspension were used for viability assays using the CellTiter-Blue™ Reagent. Viability is presented as percentage of untreated cells (+/- SD). An experiment representative of 3 repetitions is shown.
