The "primed" and native populations are indistinguishable by CD11b or phosphorylated-Erk
expression levels. A. The "primed" (green) and "native" (red) populations were measured for CD11b expression
immediately after FACS sorting and found to be indistinguishable. For comparison,
CD11b signal from the treated population before sorting is presented (black) showing
a combination of CD11bLow and CD11bHigh cells. B. Similarly, intracellular phosphorylated-Erk (Erk-P) expression for "primed" (green)
and "native" (red) populations as monitored by flow cytometry gave nearly identical
results. In comparison, a sample treated with 1.3% DMSO for 7 days (black) revealed
much larger variations in Erk-P expression.
