RT-PCR analysis of MMP-9 mRNA expression in human macrophages after 24-hour PMA treatment. THP-1 cells were treated with 100 μg/ml PMA for 24 h, and total RNA was isolated by electrophoresis and transferred to a nylon membrane. The membrane was hybridized with MMP-9 specific cDNAs, and visualized by autoradiography.
