Resolution: standard / high Figure 1.
Cell viability and transformation assays. A. Cell viability of Primary and F111 cells. Cells were collected by trypsinization and plated on agar-coated surfaces at their
represented time periods and assayed for viability by using MTT. Loss of cell viability
is progressed with the time as shown in the figure with unfilled and filled bars representing
Primary and F111 cells. B. Soft agar colony formation of primary and F111 cells. 1×105 cells collected at the indicated time periods were mixed with 0.3% of agar and overlaid
on 1% agar. The colonies with more than 50 cells were accounted and the number was
high at 16 h time period as indicated in the figure. Unfilled and filled bars in the
figure represent Primary and F111 cells. C. Tumour formation assay in nude mice. Adherent for 16 hrs (A16) (crossed bars) and non-adherent for 16 hrs (NA16) (Filled
bars) cells derived from F111 cells were injected subcutaneously in to nude mice and
the size of the tumour increased with F111 NA16 cells was measured at indicated time
periods and average size of the tumour is represented in the figure.
