Performance of the hierarchical aggregation algorithm on two versions of the transition matrix (MC1 and MC4) for the Ovarian cancer dataset. For both considered Markov chains the number of phases, group sizes, and running times are given. In the case of MC1 the algorithm exploits the hierarchical structure of the chain to speed up the stationary distribution calculation. | |||
