The total and epigenetic genetic variances are calculated by assuming population genetic parameters (p, q, u, D1e, D2e, D12) ≡ (0.4, 0.6, 0.2, 0, 0, 0) and quantitative genetic parameters (a1, ae, d1e, d2e, d12) ≡ (a1, ae, 0.05, 0.05, 0.05) (allowing a1 and ae to change).
