Sequencing reveals abundant small RNA sequences (blue box). Inputs for bioinformatic assays are tables of ncRNAs, proteins with which ncRNAs are complexed to yield gene processing moieties, and 3'UTR sequences of the mRNAs for the same proteins (gray boxes). Then biochemical assays and bioinformatic assays are compared to suggest agents of regulation (yellow box) and control mechanisms (green box).
