The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that, in situations of war or other armed conflicts, one in five people will experience depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or other psychosomatic problems. In light of ongoing and recent conflicts, BMC Psychology welcomes submissions to this Collection on the various aspects of mental health and armed conflicts.
This Collection supports and amplifies research related to SDG 3: Good Health & Wellbeing and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
