Leonard C. Gray: The University of Queensland, Australia
Len Gray is a Professor in Geriatric Medicine and Senior Researcher at the Centre for Health Services Research at the University of Queensland. His research focuses on systems of care for older people, telehealth, clinical informatics and quality systems. He is a practicing geriatrician with over 15 years’ experience in offering telehealth consultations to nursing homes and small rural hospitals across Australia. He has developed and evaluated protocols for delivery of telehealth services for older people. He is a Board member of the interRAI international research collaborative which develops assessment and decision support systems for vulnerable individuals.
Milena Soriano Marcolino: Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Brazil
Milena Marcolino is a physician specialized in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, a Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine, at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), Brazil, and the scientific coordinator and researcher at the Telehealth Center, University Hospital, UFMG. Since 2010, she has worked on the development and implementation of mHealth solutions and computerized decision support systems for the management of patients with multiple chronic medical conditions. She has also worked on the coordination of periodic quality audits of tele-electrocardiogram reports and teleconsultations and has published several articles on the topic.

Advances in medicine and health have led to a growing aging population, resulting in an urgent need to explore innovative approaches of healthcare delivery for older adults. Telehealth and telemedicine are rapidly evolving fields that have greatly impacted healthcare by removing barriers of geographical location and expanding access to specialized care. In the context of geriatrics, these digital technologies hold great promise for delivering personalized and patient-centred care, improving medication management, reducing hospital readmissions, and enhancing overall quality of life for older adults.

We encourage submissions from a range of disciplines, including geriatric medicine, telemedicine, nursing, psychology, public health, and healthcare technology.
