Poliquin Resident Research Competition 2016

We are pleased to present the collection of papers that comprised the Poliquin Resident Research Competition that was held at the 70th Annual Meeting of the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. All projects were showcased at the Annual Meeting and the submitted manuscripts have undergone rigorous peer review to be accepted for publication in Journal Otolarynoglogy - Head & Neck Surgery.

Any residents currently in a Canadian Otolaryngology-HNS training program is eligible to enter. The competition recognizes, in memoriam, Dr. Jacques Poliquin, who was a prominent otolaryngologist, researcher, and educator who fostered this competition in its formative years.

Publication charges for this collection were funded by Canadian Society of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. All articles have undergone the journal’s standard peer-review process.
