Credelio

Credelioâ„¢ (lotilaner): A comprehensive manuscript collection covering safety, onset of action and spectrum of activity of the newest isoxazoline ectoparasiticide.

New Content ItemThis collection of manuscripts has been created in order to provide veterinarians and parasitologists with a substantial amount of scientific data around the use of Credelio (lotilaner) for the treatment of common ectoparasites that can infest pets and their homes around the world.

Ticks and fleas are common parasites of pets that may not only be a nuisance, but also create significant harm and can spread diseases like ehrlichiosis, babesiosis, borreliosis and bartonellosis. Large numbers of ticks or fleas can cause anemia. Immune response to the presence of fleas may even lead to the development of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD).

The articles in this collection report the results of studies funded by Elanco Animal Health during the development of Credelio (lotilaner), providing information regarding its use for the treatment of a variety of ectoparasite species. Detailed conflict of interest statements are included within each article.

The articles in this collection have undergone the journal’s standard peer-review process overseen by the Editors, and each article can also be found individually in the journal. The Editors declare no competing interests.
