Biology of Sex Differences is calling for submissions to our Collection on Sex Differences and Similarities in the Human Brain.

About the collection

Biology of Sex Differences invites authors to submit empirical studies, meta-analyses, and theoretical articles to this special collection that aims to address on what and where sex-related variation can be found, but also how large or small, and how relevant or trivial these differences seem to be. Topics may include structural and functional sex-based divergences and similarities at the micro or macro level, their relationship with behavior, and/ or with neurological and psychiatric disorders.

Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure you have read our submission guidelines. Articles for this Collection should be submitted via the submission system. During the submission process you will be asked whether you are submitting to a Collection/Thematic Series, please select "Sex Differences and Similarities in the Human Brain" from the dropdown menu.

Articles will undergo the journal’s standard peer-review process and are subject to all of the journal’s standard policies. Articles will be added to the Collection as they are published.

The Guest Editors have no competing interests with the submissions which they handle through the peer review process. The peer review of any submissions for which the Guest Editors have competing interests is handled by another Editorial Board Member who has no competing interests.
