Cancer & Metabolism presents a new Collection on 'Role of transporters in metabolism.' This Collection seeks to unravel the intricate connections between transporters and metabolism, and shed light on their regulatory mechanisms, impact on disease states, and potential as therapeutic targets.

This Collection is open for submissions of invited authors only.

About the collection

Cellular transporters play a pivotal role in mediating the movement of molecules across cell membranes, influencing diverse metabolic processes including nutrient uptake, waste elimination, and drug disposition. This Collection seeks to unravel the intricate connections between transporters and metabolism, and shed light on their regulatory mechanisms, impact on disease states, and potential as therapeutic targets. We welcome original research, reviews, that deepen our understanding of how transporters intricately shape metabolic pathways and pave the way for innovative approaches in drug development and disease intervention.

This Collection is open for submissions of invited authors only.
