Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder that is manifested clinically by resting tremor, rigidity, bradykinesia and postural disability. Besides these typical motor symptoms, the occurrence of motor complications and the appearance of non-motor symptoms can be even more troublesome for patients and are often more difficult to manage.
This special issue will introduce both current and future pharmacological treatment strategies for early and later stages of PD.
