Clinical Proteomics is calling for submissions to our Collection on Liquid biopsy applications of proteomics. We encourage submissions that showcase innovative methodologies, clinical insights, and interdisciplinary collaborations advancing the field of liquid biopsy and proteomics.

About the collection

Liquid biopsy, leveraging proteomics, may revolutionize disease diagnostics by analyzing proteins in easily accessible bodily fluids. This minimally invasive approach detects proteins released by various conditions, aiding disease identification, treatment evaluation, and monitoring. Techniques like mass spectrometry and multiplexed immunoassays enable precise protein analysis with high sensitivity, specificity, and throughput. Liquid biopsy, applicable across diseases, facilitates personalized medicine improving diagnosis and supporting tailored treatments based on individual molecular profiles. Despite challenges like sample variability, proteomic-based liquid biopsy promises early disease detection and improved therapeutic strategies. Its integration into clinical practice heralds a paradigm shift towards precision medicine and enhanced patient care across diverse medical conditions.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

• Novel proteomic approaches for liquid biopsy analysis
• Discovery and validation of disease signatures in liquid biopsies
• Proteomic insights from novel sampling techniques
• Liquid biopsy applications in personalized medicine
• Clinical implications and translational aspects of liquid biopsy
• Challenges and opportunities in standardization and quality control

We encourage submissions that showcase innovative methodologies, clinical insights, and interdisciplinary collaborations advancing the field of liquid biopsy and proteomics.
