Epigenetics & Chromatin: Interactions and processes

To mark the 2013 BioMed Central Epigenetics & Chromatin: Interactions and processes conference,Epigenetics & Chromatin has launched a new thematic series of publications aimed to discuss how the dynamic processes of epigenetic and chromatin components come together to regulate cellular processes. The series will include original research, review, comment and opinion pieces, and we welcome further research submissions on these topics. Please submit your manuscript through our website and indicate in your covering letter that you would like it to be considered for the series, or alternatively, send a pre-submission enquiry to editorial@epigeneticsandchromatin.com.

  1. Content type: Review

DNA replication is a highly conserved process that accurately copies the genetic information from one generation to the next. The processes of chromatin disassembly and reassembly during DNA replication also h...

  2. Content type: Review

The packaging of eukaryotic DNA into nucleosomal arrays permits cells to tightly regulate and fine-tune gene expression. The ordered disassembly and reassembly of these nucleosomes allows RNA polymerase II (RN...
