Dr. Gaetano Isola is a senior Assistant Professor of Periodontology, School of Dentistry, at the University of Catania, Italy. Dr. Isola is advisor of several research projects and has been invited to speak at several national and international conferences of Periodontology and Oral Surgery. He is author of over 100 national and international peer-reviewed publications. His main research interests focus on the clinical, biological and pharmacological aspects of periodontitis, and the relationship between oral health and systemic health.
