Georgia State University is a leading research University located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, Georgia Research staff and students at Georgia State University:

BioMed Central publishes 255 peer-reviewed open access journals. Georgia State University is a Member which means you can apply with your institutional Research Office to request to publish in any BioMed Central journal at no cost to you. Approval to publish through the Georgia State membership is based on competitive review. Please contact the institutional research office at kpowellstout@gsu.edu before submitting your manuscript in order to apply for access to the Georgia State University Membership Account. The approval to publish under our Membership is restricted to only full-time faculty at Georgia State University.

As an affiliated author from Georgia State University, you may be entitled to submit your manuscript without paying the article processing charge (APC).

If you submit from an IP address that has been registered by your institution, the APC will be waived automatically at the end of the submission process.

If you submit using a non-registered IP address, please choose your institution from the drop down list on the payment options page and our Customer Services will be in touch to check your affiliation.

If you have the membership submission code, please enter it in option 3 of the APC estimate section during the submission process.
