Nominations for the Biology Image Library Awards are now closed. A shortlist will be published here shortly.
The shortlist and winners will be chosen by a panel including BioMed Central's senior editors and invited external experts.
The winning research article will be announced at the 4th Annual Research Awards ceremony in 10 June 2010.
