OVERVIEW
Nominations for the awards are now being accepted and will close December 31, 2008. Anyone who publishes original research of major significance in one of BioMed Central's journals during 2008 is eligible for nomination.
The winning articles will be selected by a panel including BioMed Central editorial team members and external experts in biology and medicine. The winners will be announced at the 3rd Annual BioMed Central Research Awards dinner in March 2009.
This award is presented to the authors of the best published research from
any of BioMed Central's Biology titles.
This award is presented to the authors of the best published research from
any of BioMed Central's Medicine titles.
This award is presented to the authors of the best case report published in our
specialist case report journals, Journal of Medical Case Reports and Cases Journal.
The winning case report will be selected on originality and significance to clinical
practice, and can be from any area of medicine.
