Daniel Giannella-Neto is an Associate Professor at the Laboratory for Clinical and Experimental Gastroenterology at the University of São Paulo School of Medicine, where he had also previously been the head of the diabetes unit for the University’s Clinics Hospital for six years. Prior to this he carried out post-doctoral studies in Molecular Biology at University of California and in Molecular Genetics at Emory University. His research and areas of expertise include clinical endocrinology, diabetes, metabolism and molecular genetics of gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors. He has also held the position of Business Development Executive Manager at Mantecorp IQF and has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, São Paulo.
