Editor’s summary
Entomological and transmission parameters were evaluated to incriminate potential anopheline vectors in three localities of a major Colombian malaria endemic region. The results indicated that Anopheles nuneztovari and Anopheles darlingi continue to be the most important malaria vectors in this region. This is the first report of Anopheles triannulatus, natural infection in Colombia. Image: Collection site, El Loro locality, in the UCS malaria endemic region.
