Targeted campaigns

A minimum spend of $1,500 USD applies on all email campaigns

Search advertising
Up to 10 words

Direct emails $400 (cost per 1,000 emails)
Sponsored update emails $250 /CPM (cost per 1,000 recipients)
Email opt-in selection boxes $1000 / CPM set up fee and $10 per email collected

Online advertising options can be placed on a CPC / PPC (cost-per-click) basis for artwork designed to generate click-throughs. Please discuss CPC pricing with your sales representative.


Geo targeting and time specific campaigns available. A 20% surcharge is added for the 1st level and then a further 10% for each subsequent level of targeted specification i.e. Asia (+20%) Japan (10%)

A minimum spend of $2,000 USD applies on all targeted campaigns (journal specific or geo specific)

A discount will apply for campaigns that run for more than 3 months –

1 – 3 months rate card
4 – 6 months 10% discount
7 – 9 months 15% discount
10 – 12 months 20% discount

MPU are currently only available on the Gateway pages however will be available on the homepage and journal pages when are site is re-launched in late 2009.

*CPM is the abbreviation for cost per 1,000 impressions, which refers to the number of times your advertisement is seen or downloaded onto a specific page

Advertising campaigns based on click-throughs must be approved before going live. Advertisements must attract click-throughs in order to qualify for this method of payment. Advertisements designed to enhance branding that do not give a message to encourage click-throughs can be paid for on a CPM basis.
