Independent, open access journals

BioMed Central has developed the technology for groups of researchers, whether informal groups or formal societies, to start open access journals under their own editorial control. We call these our independent journals.

So far, 120 journals have been launched, and there are more forthcoming. We are always looking to publish new or existing journals as part of the independent journals programme.
