Parasites & Vectors
is an open access, peer-reviewed online journal dealing with the biology of parasites, parasitic diseases, intermediate hosts and vectors.
Editor-in-Chief of Parasites & Vectors, Chris Arme launched this journal with BioMed Central in January 2008.
"I am delighted to be involved in the launch of an online, open access journal covering a wide range of topics in the pure and applied biology of parasites, intermediate hosts and vectors. The online systems of BioMed Central give greatly enhanced creative opportunities for authors to include in their manuscripts large datasets, links to other web pages, unlimited colour illustrations and animations and movie clips. Open access means that high quality research on parasites and vectors will be freely available to all, without charge, worldwide."
