Cheng-Kung Cheng

Cheng-Kung Cheng got his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from The University of Iowa and finished his post-doctoral training in The University of Alberta in 1988. He then returned to College of Medicine of National Taiwan University where he was Associate Professor of Center for Biomedical Engineering from 1988 to 1995. He moved to National Yang Ming University and founded the orthopaedic biomechanics laboratory of Institute of Biomedical Engineering in 1995. He was the Chairman of Institute of Biomedical Engineering, founding Chairman of Institute of Rehabilitation Science and Technology and Dean of Office of Research and Development of National Yang Ming University. He is currently the Professor of Institute of Biomedical Engineering, founding Director of Joint Prosthesis Technology Research Center and Director of center for innovation and incubation of National Yang Ming University. He was the President of Taiwan Orthopaedic Research Society and Taiwan Biomechanics Society. He is now the co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery and Research.
