Thrombosis Journal
publishes articles on all aspects of clinical and basic research in the different areas of thrombosis: platelets, coagulation fibrinolysis and vessel wall, and risk factors for thrombosis and atherosclerosis.
Raul Altman launched his journal with BioMed Central in May 2003
"Everyone should have equal access
to medical literature. Thrombosis is the most
significant cause of disability and death in the
world. Starting Thrombosis Journal, in which all
the content is Open Access, makes it possible
for anyone in the world to read high-quality research
in this important area". "BioMed Central's
