A short biography
Takafumi Hamaoka graduated with an MD from Ehime
University, Japan in 1989 and subsequently completed
his PhD at Tokyo Medical University. After working
as chief of instruction at Tokyo Metropolitan
Health Promotion centre, Takafumi returned to
Tokyo Medical University where he was Assistant
Professor at the Department of Preventative Medicine
and Public Health. He is currently a Professor
at the National Institute of Fitness and Sports
in Japan and Associate Professor at the Tokyo
Medical University. Takafumi is Editor-in-Chief
of the journal, Dynamic Medicine.
