Annals
of Clinical Microbiology and Antimicrobials considers manuscripts on all aspects
of clinical microbiology; infectious diseases and antimicrobials, including diagnosis
of infectious diseases; case management and antimicrobial treatment; antibiotic
development; and antimicrobial resistance.
Editor-in-Chief Hakan Leblebicioglu launched his journal with BioMed
Central in September 2002.

A short biography
Hakan Leblebicioglu is a Professor of Infectious
Diseases and Clinical Microbiology, and Director
of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Clinical
Microbiology at Ondokuz Mayis University, Turkey.
Hakan Leblebicioglu has published in the fields
of antibiotic use, epidemiology, nosocomial infections,
viral hepatitis, and leptospirosis; these research
interests were his inspiration to take on the
role of Editor-in-Chief for the Open Access, peer
reviewed, online journal Annals of Clinical
Microbiology and Antimicrobials
